Each campus provides transportation and funding for their representatives to attend the national round at Western. Their support is instrumental to this competition's success.

The 2013 USCC winners were offered lab positions working on Cystic Fibrosis (the year's topic) at the Hospital for Sick Children. Sickkids also provided judges for that year's competition.
SciSection is a Canadian radio show and podcast based at McMaster University with the goal of sharing different scientific perspectives with the general public. They will be interviewing the winners of the 2023-24 competition on their show.
